Marine protection and sustainable surfing are important to us: We cooperate with Mantahari Oceancare e.V. and donate 50% of the profits from the sale of our merchandise to marine protection. Mantahari Oceancare is forwarding our donation to the Marine Megafauna Foundation in Indonesia, among other things, to protect manta rays and combat plastic waste in the sea.
We are pleased to announce that through our fundraising campaign at the Fehmarn Surf Festival 2023, we were able to donate enough money to Mantahari Oceancare to “adopt” the first manta ray. Many thanks to Mantahari for the great cooperation!
We have given the manta ray, with the identification INNLP0800A, the name “Marin” – it is a female manta ray with a very distinctive pattern on the underside. Marin was last spotted on 15.11.2022 near Bali.
On the “MantaMatcher” website you can find out details about Marin and track where she will be spotted next .
We hope that we will get to see Marin in person on a dive one day.
In cooperation with Mantahari Oceancare, we want to adopt more manta rays! We will soon be offering our merchandises online.
